The economy has always been the creator economy in the sense that creative people are the ones who get to run things and get paid the most is just there been very few of them. Now what's happening is that the number of creators that we can support is broadening thanks to the internet. So many people can be creative.

History really remembers the artists. They are the people who are breaking new ground, creating new things or generating new ideas. In an age of infinite leverage, ideas and judgements are the most important thing. We've always in the creative economy. It's just that there were haven't been that many of people who are the creators. They collected all the rewards they were the real creators, but now many more of us get participate to creative acts.

As external transaction costs come down, thanks to things like Gumroad and clubhouse and so on.

Creators

Eventually, everybody will be in the creator economy. The next stage of the web is the decentralized creator economy.
